10 Royal Festival hall and Southbank Skateboard Park

If you continue along the River under the Railway bridge (The Hungerford Bridge). There is a shot in the film looking back over the bridge up the river.

Pass in front of the cafes at the Royal festival hall

Just past the cafe is the scene where the banner was and the Skateboard park. I can remember when they had security guards to keep the skateboarders out

They have added some metal steps since the K-on movie.

The next stop is Borough Market.

You have three options:

Walk to the back of the Royal Festival Hall and at the bus stop nearest the River catch the RV1 bus direction Tower gateway. Get off at the The Hop Exchange - the stop before London Bridge.

Walk along the River.  This is an interesting walk past the Bankside Power Station housing the Tate Modern, past the reconstruction of Shakespeare's Globe theatre, past Southwark bridge until you reach the reproduction of Francis Drakes ship the Golden Hind. Go past this and then follow the signs to Borough Market. Distance 1.2 miles.

As above but cross the river by Waterloo bridge to see Temple Underground station and the site of the Howard Hotel and then cross back over Blackfriars bridge.  This is an alternative to going there by Underground later in the tour and you pass in front of Somerset House. This adds 0.5 miles to the walk.
